Gina Marie is an amazing little girl; smart and super affectionate are just two of her traits. In addition to her fabulous personality, Gina has wonderfully expressive brown eyes, a beautiful, sleek black coat and a petite, muscular body. What a doll she is! She is crate and house trained already, too. Gina loves to play with other dogs in her foster home, especially tug and chase games, and is a rough and tumble kind of player who always wants to be in charge. She lives with a cat in her foster home and usually ignores her; occasionally she chases the kitty but has never tried to hurt her. As a young puppy, Gina's exposure to the world was very limited before she came to Helping Strays, which caused her to have some residual fear issues. While she is very comfortable and oozes confidence in her foster home, the outside world is still a scarey place for her. The good news is that she is expanding her confidence and comfort zone with every outing she goes on. Gina cautiously meets new people when out in public, and is especially unsure of what to make of small children just yet. Once proper introductions are done and wonderful treats doled out, she goes belly-up for tummy rubs. Gina definitely looks to her handler for support when something new and strange shows up. Gina would greatly benefit from an experienced dog owner and from attending puppy socialization classes.
